TechNode served as an international media partner of the forum. Andrey Prokhorovich, CEO of Eurasia Development Limited and an investor in TechNode Russia, took part in the panel discussion “Personal Data Index: Government, Business or Individuals — Who Will Profit from It?”
Session participants discussed data accessibility, its cost, and the use of data to improve companies’ operational efficiency.

According to Andrey Prokhorovich, obtaining any kind of data in China is a major challenge. All data belongs to the state, and companies naturally share this data with the government. Access to data by third parties is a separate issue. “In China, data cannot be bought; it can only be obtained, for example, through collaboration,” said the CEO of Eurasia Development Limited.
In addition to participating in the sessions, Andrey Prokhorovich interviewed experts from the international technology business community: Olga Uskova, Yuri Koropachinsky, Oleg Teplov and Maria Lapuk.
