Andrey Prokhorovich, CEO of Eurasia Development Limited, has been appointed Advisor for Cooperation with the People’s Republic of China at the Association of Clusters and Technology Parks of Russia.
His key responsibilities include coordinating cooperation between the Association and Chinese government and commercial organizations, establishing business contacts in innovation, industry and finance, developing strategies, and addressing urgent issues.
The Association of Clusters and Technology Parks was established in 2011. It represents the interests of its members in relations with federal and local government authorities and assists them in addressing social, economic, scientific, technological and management challenges.
The Association brings together around 50 organizations, including Skolkovo Technopark, Technopolis Moscow, Technopark Mordovia, Novosibirsk Academpark, as well as specialized organizations supporting industrial clusters, such as the National Aerosol Cluster, the Fryazino Innovation and Industrial Cluster Management Company, and other small and medium-sized technology businesses.
Its members also include cluster development centers, business incubators, prototyping centers, nanotechnology centers, engineering centers and shared-use facilities representing 26 regions across all federal districts of Russia.
