On September 28, 2018, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the China-Russia Innovation Technology Park during a working visit to Yantai.

Before a working meeting with the management of the technology park, Mr. Minnikhanov was introduced to its resident companies, with particular attention paid to Eurasia Development Ltd. (ED). The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan was briefed on the company’s services and clients, which include Dodo Pizza and Skyeng, an online English language school.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov expressed interest in ED’s services, namely market research, intellectual property registration and soft landing for companies in China.

Eurasia Development was represented at the meeting by COO Lavrenty Klimov and Director for Foreign Economic Affairs Konstantin Yeremich.
It should be noted that the Republic of Tatarstan actively cooperates with various regions of China. In 2017, trade turnover between Tatarstan and China amounted to USD 565 million, while cooperation agreements were in place with Fujian, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang and Shandong provinces.

The Republic is also interested in China’s experience in innovation and opportunities to bring its own projects to international markets, with Eurasia Development Ltd. providing support in these areas.
