On March 17, 2026, a conference aimed at establishing business contacts between Russian and Chinese automotive companies was held in Baoshan District, Shanghai. The event focused on developing practical cooperation in the auto parts sector and creating new opportunities for cooperation between manufacturers and distributors from the two countries.

The meeting was organized by Avtosnab and Ronghuan Xinyuan (Shanghai). Representatives of Eurasia Development Group, the GangYouHui online freight transportation platform, the Xinyu Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Center, as well as a number of specialized Chinese companies also took part in the event.
The conference brought together more than 60 industry representatives, including executives and experts from Chinese enterprises, representatives of the Russian company Avtosnab, as well as representatives of NPS Group, one of Russia’s leading companies in the design and construction of road, railway, energy and port infrastructure facilities. The main objective of the meeting was to create an effective communication platform for direct dialogue between Chinese auto component manufacturers and Russian market participants.

Avtosnab, part of ED Group, is one of the major distributors of Chinese auto parts in the Russian market. During the event, company representatives presented an overview of the current situation in the Russian auto components segment, outlined key areas of demand and discussed Avtosnab’s competitive advantages as a partner for Chinese manufacturers entering the Russian market.
The business program included a series of presentations and negotiations. The Russian side presented assessments of the current state of the market, key challenges and promising areas for cooperation. Chinese manufacturers, in turn, presented their products, technological solutions and international development plans, and discussed possible formats of cooperation with their Russian counterparts.

Particular attention was paid to expanding supplies, developing distribution channels and building sustainable partnerships. During the open discussion, participants addressed practical aspects of cooperation and further steps toward implementing joint projects.
The conference marked an important step in strengthening Russia-China cooperation in the automotive industry. The event created conditions for direct contact between manufacturers and distributors, helped Chinese companies gain a better understanding of the specifics of the Russian market, and enabled the Russian side to expand its pool of potential suppliers of high-quality products. The meeting resulted in stronger business ties and laid the groundwork for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
