One of the key areas of cooperation will be the development of technology exchange between Russia and China in the field of geospatial technologies. The parties plan to study advanced Chinese technological practices and assess opportunities for their adaptation and application in Russia, including for the needs of Russian corporations, infrastructure projects, and territorial development.
At the same time, Eurasia Development Group will support the promotion of promising MIIGAiK technologies and solutions in China and other Asia-Pacific markets. This cooperation will bring together the scientific and technological capabilities of one of Russia’s leading specialized universities with Eurasia Development’s practical expertise in working with China’s technology market and international partners.
“Today, spatial data is becoming a foundation for the development of human capital, cities, industry, infrastructure, and territories. Together with MIIGAiK, we plan to study leading technological practices and experience from China, including opportunities for their adaptation and application in Russia and by Russian corporations. Another key area will be supporting the promotion of the University’s technologies and solutions in China and other Asia-Pacific markets. By combining MIIGAiK’s scientific expertise with Eurasia Development Group’s international capabilities, we will be able to establish effective two-way technology exchange. The future of a territory begins with how accurately we are able to see it,” said Andrey Prokhorovich, CEO of Eurasia Development Group.
The cooperation will also cover education and talent development. MIIGAiK and Eurasia Development plan to combine academic knowledge with practical industry expertise to train specialists capable of working with advanced technologies in geodesy, cartography, and digital territorial modeling and addressing real-world challenges in industry and infrastructure.
“The agreement with Eurasia Development opens up new opportunities for effective synergy between academic knowledge and industry expertise in geospatial technologies. We see the strategic value of this partnership in creating an integrated ecosystem in which MIIGAiK’s advanced scientific developments can find practical application, while the company’s extensive industry experience will enrich our educational programs. Joint scientific, technological, and educational activities will enable us to train a new generation of specialists with in-demand competencies in geodesy, cartography, and digital territorial modeling, focused on the real needs of the industry,” said Nadezhda Kamynina, Rector of MIIGAiK.
For Eurasia Development, cooperation with MIIGAiK expands its capabilities to implement complex Russia–China technology projects — from identifying and evaluating promising solutions in China and adapting them to the needs of Russian clients to supporting Russian technology developers in entering the Chinese market. The partnership provides a foundation for systematic cooperation at the intersection of science, technology, education, and international engagement.
