Eurasia Development (ED) at Retail TECH 2022 in Moscow

The international Retail TECH 2022 Forum was held at the World Trade Center in Moscow on April 12–14, 2022. This year, the Forum attracted more than 5,300 unique participants, including representatives of more than 500 major retail chains and brands. Eurasia Development (ED) acted as a co-organizer of the Forum.

Andrey Prokhorovich, CEO of Eurasia Development Ltd., took part in the Forum’s analytical pre-plenary session, “Retail in the New Reality: Trends, Innovation and Development Outlook,” where he spoke about opportunities for cooperation with Chinese companies and the use of Chinese technologies in the retail sector.

On April 14, as part of Retail TECH 2022, a dedicated session entitled “China: Cooperation in an Era of Change. Incredible Technologies” was held and organized by Eurasia Development Ltd.

The discussions were moderated by Sergei Geilo, Senior Partner at Eurasia Development Ltd. The session focused on current technology trends in China’s retail market, the business models of Chinese retail companies, and opportunities for scouting and transferring retail technologies from China to Russia.

In addition, during the panel discussions “China as a Klondike for Retail.Tech” and “Pivot to China and Southeast Asia,” speakers discussed the retail investment markets of China and Southeast Asia and their development prospects.

Oleg Remyga, Head of China and Representative in China at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO;

Lubarto Sartoyo, Head of the Committee of the ASEAN Exporters and Importers Association and Advisor to the Ambassador of Indonesia.
